Fencerite manufactures and installs fences and gates.
Specialising in industrial perimeter defence and access control Fencerite also installs residential pipe and mesh, all styles of timber fencing and various styles of pool fencing, including wrought iron.
Another specialty of the Company is the supply and installation of tennis court fencing and floodlighting, with several fencing kitsets and light poles exported to the Pacific Islands.
The Company has agencies for Alsteel Tubular fencing, Hurricane Wire Products, Anchor Fence and Bulldog Fence Panels.
The Company also offers a consultancy service on all aspects of access control and perimeter defence.
Fencerite operates from its own factory at 33 Ben Lomond Crescent, Pakuranga and employs one owner/director, an Office Manager, a General Manager, three factory production workers, two commission only Estimators and six contract installation gangs.

Larry joined National Airways Corporation at Nelson straight from school in 1962, and worked in Hamilton and Wellington before moving to Auckland in 1980 when NAC and Air New Zealand merged. He worked in Reservations, Cargo, Aircraft Dispatch, Reservations Control and Operations Control before accepting voluntary redundancy in May 1991.
During his time with the airline he gained experience in supervision of staff, management techniques, customer service and Total Quality Management principles.
As Airline Operations Controller he had sole responsibility for the on-time operation of the Airline during his shift, and responsibility for recovery of the airlines operation after disruption caused by weather, engineering, security or other reasons.
This position involved decision making under pressure, cost effective utilisation of resources, coordination of staff and dissemination of instructions worldwide.
He is Past President of Becroft Park Tennis Club, past National President of Children's International Summer Villages Inc., and Past President of Cockle Bay Tennis Club.
Finance
The Company's financial year is 1 April to 31 March.
Credit
Clients requesting credit may be required to complete a credit application form and any credit terms offered are dependent upon sales volume and are granted by the Managing Director.
All residential contracts are subject to a 40% deposit, with the balance due within seven days.

Clients include regular and casual contracts in the following categories:

Accounts for approximately 20% of turnover and varies according to season. Contracts are generally small with a great variety of styles and often with site difficulties.
This field has recently been extended to cover the wider Auckland area from the initial Eastern suburbs dominance, although a considerable amount of work still comes from this area.
Pool fencing is very popular.
