THE essential BALUSTRADE SYSTEM
The essential balustrade system offers a wide choice of
options using vertical pickets, toughened glass, cast aluminium
lace panels, perforated panels, with or without a bottom rail, with or
without an intermediate rail or even glass with no rails for the ultimate
in see through. Because of superior design coupled with high tensile
aluminium alloy extrusions essential are able to offer the widest
spans between post centres so that you see more view and less balustrade. essential
offer a choice of posts from the standard 50 x 60mm rectangular for
vertical picket, cast aluminium panels, perforated panels and glass
through to the revolutionary Mirage post for glazed options when you want
to enjoy the view with minimal interference. We offer a choice of
handrails from the classical round, through the elegantly shaped Tasman
aluminium rail to the exclusive Pacific rail which is only 18mm high. essential
can also provide timber handrails if required. essential
can provide a wide range of cast aluminium infill panels to suit both
classical and modern architectural styles as well as the very popular
vertical picket in either rectangular or elliptical styles for the clean
look. Options include a full height panel or a panel with an intermediate

with aluminium top, intermediate and bottom rails, or, top and bottom
rails, or, top rail only or even no rails at all using the exclusive
Cantilever bracket. essential
recommends the Mirage post for all glazed balustrades. Stairs are not a
problem nor are curved options. essential can handle these with
ease. essential has had all of their exclusive designs rigorously
tested by Duffill, Watts and King, one of New Zealand's leading Consulting
Engineers, to ensure that we can not only meet, but also substantially
exceed, the minimum requirements for this type of product in both
residential and commercial applications. A Producer Statement from the
engineers is provided with each accepted quotation. All essential
balustrades are fabricated from superior strength Ullrich aluminium alloys
and powdercoated in your choice of over 100 colours. Another option is
anodizing which is available in several colours and finishes. essential
uses only Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel fixings and fasteners to secure
your balustrade so that you get a minimal upkeep, long lasting product.
